Heavy Duty 24 Pin DIL I.C. Socket in Black

Gold plated “double swipe” contacts to ensure 100% connection with chip pins.

These sockets are designed with high ‘wings’ so the chip is cradled and protected, also the gold plated outer contacts extend up these high sides to facilitate 100% connection with chip pins.

Please note: these are 0.6″ in width they suit a particular type of chip (older processors eeproms etc.) not suitable for 0.3″
